Who We Are

Sandhills Contracting is a full-service general contracting company headquartered in the Sandhills region of North Carolina. We hold an NC Unlimited General Contractor license — the highest classification issued by the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors — which means we're legally authorized to manage residential and commercial projects of any size across NC and SC.

We serve homeowners, property managers, business owners, and developers across Fayetteville, Raleigh, Charlotte, Charleston, and Columbia. Whether the project is a home renovation, a commercial tenant improvement, a storm repair, or a ground-up build, our team brings the same level of craft, communication, and accountability to every job site.

The Carolinas are our home. We understand the local building codes, the permit requirements, and the weather challenges that make construction in this region unique. From the sandy coastal soils of the Low Country to the clay-heavy terrain of the Piedmont, we've worked across the full geography of NC and SC and we build accordingly.

What We Do

Our services span residential new construction, home remodeling, commercial build-outs, tenant improvements, storm damage repair, roofing, and foundation work. We coordinate all trades — framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, finishes — under one contract, giving clients a single point of accountability from permitting through final inspection.

We also work directly with insurance adjusters on storm damage claims, providing documentation, scope estimates, and emergency stabilization services that help homeowners maximize their coverage and get back to normal faster.
